About Olduvai Ndogo

"Ndogo" means "small" in Swahili - Olduvai's smaller sister is set on the Kiloki-Kopjes plateau and offers a breathtaking view over the the unique Ngorongoro Conservation area.
Halfway between the two camps, which are built about one kilometer apart, preserved and welcoming Maasai villages can be found, offering visitors a true and authentic immersion into the Masai daily life.
The camp is located close to the Olduvai Gorge and offers a unique bush experience between the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast Serengeti plains. During the migration hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras graze directly in front of the camp.

The amazing Olduvai Ndogo experience starts just before guests arrive to the camp as we make our final approach to the camp on foot with a lovely walk accompanied by our Masai guides and their donkeys.

Maint Tent
Eight spacious and stylish decorated tents are nestled on the flanks of the rock. They offer a spectacular views from the private viewing deck over the unique Olduvai area and the endless Serengeti plains. All tents offer en-suite bathrooms (flush toilets, shower and basin) at the back of each tent. A special family unit with 2 separate bedrooms is available and Triple rooms can be offered. 24 hour electricity is provided in each tent thanks to our local solar equipment.
