About Mysigio Tented Camp
Mysigio Tented Camp is tucked into the lush forest along the Endulen Road in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just 8km from the airstrip. Designed as a small, intimate camp, Mysigio offers a deeply personal safari experience that is rooted in place, people, and landscape.
The camp is available on an exclusive-use basis, making it ideal for families, friends, or small groups looking for complete privacy, flexibility, and the freedom to set their own pace. Cultural experiences here are genuinely authentic, shaped by our long-standing friendship with Chief Ole Dorop and his Maasai community next door. Guests are welcomed into meaningful interactions through guided walks, traditional ceremonies, shared meals, and unhurried conversations that provide real insight into Maasai life and heritage.
Mysigio is thoughtfully eco-designed, blending comfort with sustainability. Recent upgrades include carefully managed flush toilet systems in each tent, designed to minimise water use while maintaining modern comfort. Accommodation includes spacious classic tents as well as a newly introduced family tent, featuring two ensuite bedrooms connected by a shared lounge — perfect for families or multi-generational groups. Warm hospitality, excellent food, and a strong sense of connection to the surrounding land define every stay at Mysigio.

Family Tent
The Mysigio Family Tent is designed for comfort, space, and togetherness, making it ideal for families or small groups. This large canvas tent features two separate sleeping areas under one roof, each with proper beds, quality linens, and cozy furnishings. Each room offers an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, basin, and hot shower for convenience after a day of exploring. There is a comfortable lounge area inside for family games night or reflecting on the day's safari.
The tent’s layout provides privacy for adults and children while keeping everyone close. Large mesh windows allow natural light and fresh highland air to flow through, while also keeping insects out. Outside, a private verandah overlooks the scenic Ngorongoro highlands - perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
Just steps away from the main dining and lounge tents, the Family Tent combines the adventure of a classic safari with the comfort of home. It’s the perfect base for sharing the magic of Ngorongoro together.
