About Lengai Camp
Lengai Camp is situated near the Oldoinyo Lengai volcano in Tanzania’s Rift Valley, surrounded by expansive plains and volcanic craters. The camp features six tents, each equipped with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms. Guests can enjoy meals in the communal dining area, which offers a variety of local dishes. Nearby attractions include Lake Natron, known for its flamingo population, and the Engaresero waterfall. Leisure facilities at the camp include guided walks, game drives, and cultural experiences with the Maasai community.

Guest Tent
Canvas Safari guest tents are 8 x 5 meter in size with en-suite bathrooms, complete with shower (some also with a bathtub) and flush toilets. Each tent is configured as either double or twin and furnished with Zanzibary-style hand crafted furnishings including beds, storage trunk writing desk, wardrobe and safari chairs. Triple tents can also be configured.
Laundry is included and will be hand washed and air dried in camp. Power is available all night and can be used to charge electronic equipment as well as provide light.
Guide Tent
Camp has 2 guide tents which are also used if the group has more than 8 guests. The guide tents are only slightly smaller than the 8m x 5m guest tents. Each tent is configured as a twin tent and fully furnished including beds, storage trunk writing desk, wardrobe and safari chairs. Laundry is included and will be hand washed and air dried in camp. Power is available all night and can be used to charge electronic equipment as well as provide light.
