Pakulala Safari Camp

Located above the ring of the Ngorongoro crater, Pakulala Safari Camp is an exclusive campsite offering a unique experience and spectacular views of the crater caldera. The camp consists of eleven canvas tents decorated in an elegant style reminiscing the late 19th century safaris. All tents are equipped with original butterfly chairs blended with handcrafted elements such as handmade carpets woven by Mbulu women's mammas. Comfort and luxury are paramount as all tents are fitted with two comfortable queen beds, a private bathroom with a bucket shower, an eco-toilet, an original local handmade washbasin and a mirror. Every tent is supplied with a feather duvet, pillows, 100% percale cotton sheets & towels, luggage racks and safari chairs to enjoy the starry Tanzanian night while guests relax on the terrace after a long safari day. In the evening, guests can unwind with a refreshing drink around the campfire overlooking the crater. The camp also offers a range of activities to suit all guest's interests, such as nature treks, game drives, balloon safaris and cultural visits to a traditional Maasai Boma.
