About Fumba Beach Lodge

Fumba Beach Lodge is a small scale, peaceful hideaway set on one of Zanzibar’s most secluded beaches. With only 26 free standing authentic spacious cottages, the essence of Fumba Beach Lodge is privacy, space, relaxation, nature and attention to detail. Rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-fridges, safes, desks, fans, mosquito nets, and hairdryers.

Facilities and services include a restaurant, a swimming pool, a reception area, a water sports centre and a spa.

The lodge is located on the Fumba peninsula, in the Menai Bay Conservation Area. This is both a large marine haven, and an eco-project. The Fumba peninsula is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty since 1998, by the World Wild Life Federation.

Deluxe Sea View
The Deluxe Sea View have a phenomenal view over the ocean. In front of these rooms you will find a stretch of beach with sun loungers and shade provided by the palm trees and umbrellas. These rooms have an en-suite bathroom, either double or twin beds and a private veranda.
Luxury Suite
The luxury suites all have a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath, his & hers wash basin and an outside shower. A special feature is the private deck with hammock located in front of the rooms overlooking the ocean with direct access to the beach and a private roof terrace.
Baobab Suite
For the ultimate extravagance, spoil yourself in one of the two lodgings cradled around a 900 year old baobab tree. Their complete bathrooms are open to the elements and those two suites have direct access to the beach. The private deck with hammock is a nice feature that offers unlimited, private sunbathing. The Baobab Suites are also known as the Honeymoon Suites.
Deluxe Garden View
The Deluxe Garden View Rooms have a magnificent view on the lush gardens; These rooms have an en-suite bathroom, either double or twin beds and a private veranda.
