About Zawadi Serengeti camp.

Zawadi Camp is located in the most desirable location within the Serengeti National Park - 20km north of Seronera airstrip, right next to the famed animal migration paths of the area, and only four kilometers away from the Retima Hippo pool.

Take a relaxing hot shower after seeing the ‘big five’ during your safari, have a cold drink while enjoying the magnificent African sunset followed by a delicious bush dinner under the stars, and finish the night by the magical firelight listening to the lions and hyenas roaring in the distance before a restful sleep in your comfortable bed.

Zawadi, or “gift” in Swahili, is a family-run safari camp with a mission to ‘gift’ our guests with a truly life enhancing experience of the Serengeti landscape and inhabitants. With just six guest tents and one family lux tent, Zawadi Camp offers a personalized and tailored experience that ensures our guests can enjoy the best of the Serengeti.

Our mess tent is equipped with a top quality restaurant and bar where our dedicated team will be able to help at any time, as well as a relaxing lounge with stunning views of the Serengeti National Park.

Your booking will include full board: breakfast, lunch or lunch box during game drive and bush dinner.

Savour our delicious food and drinks as you relish the most beautiful African sunsets or relax with a drink after a stimulating safari experience. Our mess tent is equipped with a top quality restaurant and bar where our dedicated team will be able to help you at any time, as well as a relaxing lounge with stunning views of the Serengeti National Park. Our mess tent also includes WIFI connectivity and device charging facilities. Start your day with our fabulous continental breakfast, enjoy a healthy lunch in the shade or treat yourself with an enchanting candle / fire lit dinner. Wind up your day with a drink by the outdoor fire pit, meet new friends and watch the sun slowly sink behind the horizon as the vast African sky displays more vibrant colours and hues than you ever thought possible! During the Game drive you will enjoy a full picnic lunch box on the heart of Serengeti National Park. We also have our regular BBQ dinner – try our house salad, French fries and our spiced or plain chicken and beef. For our vegetarian and vegan guests we have a delicious vegetable BBQ but please let us know in advance! All our packages include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take away and special food requirements can be arranged upon request.
