About Waterside Lodge
Set against the coastal mountains and overlooking the Wilderness Lagoon, Waterside Lodge welcomes its visitors to stylish, comfortable and well appointed rooms.
Each luxurious en-suite unit has a private balcony or patio with views towards the river and ocean. The Wilderness beach as well as the Village with its restaurants and tourist attractions are within comfortable walking distance.
At our front doorstep, you will find the start of the Touw Rivers Boardwalk, an easy and scenic 500m stroll, providing close encounters with the many bird species abundant in the lush coastal undergrowth. EBB ANF FLOW FERRY DEPARTS DAILY FROM THE JETTY SITUATED INFRONT OF THE LODGE. The Lodge is the ideal base for exploring the many diverse sights and activities offered on the Garden Route.

The Sunbird Suite (Honeymoon Suite)
The Sunbird Suite is a large, freestanding log cabin under a thatched roof with veranda and offers a king size bed, reading chairs, DSTV, fridge and a large en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower, twin basins. Separate entrance and great views.
The Hadida Ibis Room
The room overlooks the lush garden with views of the lagoon and the ocean beyond. It has a king size bed, DSTV, fridge and en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. The room has a private entrance and has a patio next to the pool.
The Loerie Cabin
The Loerie Cabin is a thatched roof log cabin with en-suite bathroom with shower. It has a king size or twin beds, TV and a fridge. The cabin has a private entrance and wooden deck which overlooks the garden and mountain.
Blue Crane Apartment
Blue Crane Apartment is a self-serviced unit with private patio and fully enclosed outside area with mountain views. It consists of a bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen/living area.
