About Chara Lodge Wilderness
The tranquil, breathtaking Chara Lodge is situated along the majestic Garden Route of South Africa, just outside Wilderness. Our luxurious rooms are spacious, cozy and all en-suite overlooking the beautiful lake, pool and mountain range. Guinea fowls feast on our front lawn with the Malachite Bird Hide right opposite the Lake. This 9 ha property is also shared with bush buck and tortoises. Long stretch's of beach, "The Map of Africa" Golf Courses, Tree Hopping, Paragliding, The Strawberry Farm, The Wild Oats Arts/Crafts/ Farmers Market and so much more are just a few of the activities available. Our breakfasts are really great and sitting in the rim flow pool overlooking the lake takes you miles away. Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Croquet, Darts, Games, Bird Watching, Long walks are all activities to be enjoyed right here on the property. Free, safe parking, free Wi-Fi and an unforgettable time will no doubt be had by all.

Executive Suite - Really spacious with double wooden doorway onto the patio overlooking the lake and mountain range and volley ball court. Watch guinea fouls feeding on the lawn. Also used as a Honeymoon Suite.
Superior Bedroom - 2
Queen Bedroom - Luxurious with double wooden doors leading onto the balcony overlooking the lake, mountain range and volley ball court. Watch guinea fowl feeding on the lawn. Private Bathroom, Non smoking room.
Luxury Suite 4
Luxury Suite is a spacious, beautifully furnished on-suite room. Perfect for the late sleepers. Beautiful Bay Window, non-smoking.
Honeymoon/Family Suite 5
Honeymoon Suite or Family Room - Really spacious, with a huge window overlooking the rim-flow pool, lake and mountain range. This suite is suitable for two adults and two children from ages 10 to 12 years old only. Children pay half price each.
Superior Bedroom - 3
Beautifully furnished en-suite non-smoking room with comfort and luxury. Exquisite view with a balcony and seating area overlooking the lake, garden and mountains.
