About Casa Cara
The Lodge was built on a family farm of the group of owners, as a way to make use of the vast space they had access to, and could not see such potential go to waste. Each owner being unique in their own way, brought a little of themselves into the building of this venue, and as such you will never find a unit or room without it's own character, as this is the main concept of the Casa Cara experience.
Casa Cara Lodge, is an Image of Diversity, and you will not easily find a Venue with such an uniquely combined setup for all ages, and all styles of travelers. Our visitors become our friends, and we make it our business to know you. Come visit us, and become a part of our Casa Family.

Close to the Vaal River, these units can accommodate 4 pax. This stunning unit consists of a king size bed & en-suite bathroom. Close to the unit is a seperate canvas tent with 2 single beds. A private braai area and communal fishing spot is included.
Luxury Tent
This unit, like our Honeymoon suite, has it's own charm and is ideal for a couple's breakaway weekend. Guests have their own private fishing spot and their own private deck right on their front door, with a gas braaier.
Deluxe Family Unit & Camp
Next to the Vaal River, this unit can accommodate 8 pax. This beautiful unit consist of a king size bed & en-suite bathroom (bath & shower). Close to the unit is 3 seperate canvas tent with shared ablution. A private braai area & fishing spot is included.
Pond Unit
With a view of the pond, this unit can accommodate 4/6 pax. This stunning unit consist of 2 king size bed bedrooms, with a shared en-suite bathroom. A private braai area and communal fishing spot is included. A sleeper couch is also available.
Baracca 2 & 4
Each stunning Baracca consist of two bedrooms, both with king size beds & each room with an en-suite bathroom. Each unit also have a private boma area with a beautiful view of the veldt, and a communal fishing spot. Approximately 700m from the Vaal River.
Baracca 1 & 3
The stunning Baracca have two rooms with king-size beds &
one with a bunk bed (Single on Double), with two bathrooms. A private boma and communal fishing spot is included, with a stunning view of the veldt. Approximately 700m from the Vaal River.
Bush Camp
With stunning bushveld surroundings, this camp consist of two tented rooms with a single and double bed & another room that is connected to the kitchen with a king size bed. A private braai area, boma and communal fishing spot is included.
