Sleepkloof Hut

Sleepkloof Hut, nestled in the heart of Tsitsikamma National Park, offers a serene getaway for hikers traversing the southern Cape’s hiking paradise. Named after the historical wood-cutters who “slept” or pulled timber from the river gorges, the hut is a cozy cabin situated just 3.4km from the N2 Storms River Bridge, close to the enchanting Storms River gorge. This hut serves as a tranquil resting point on the shorter variation of the Tsitsikamma Trail, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the indigenous afromontane forest and mountain fynbos.
