About Firefly Falls

Firefly Falls is far from the daily bustle of rural living, but close enough to wholesome conveniences like a local farmstall with yummy cheeses & treats, only within walking distance way. Bring your bicycle along and explore the nearby trails that range from mild to wild. Located near us are restaurants, coffee shops, wine estates and far more to explore near our doorstep.

With a mix of options such as Basic Room types, authentic Glamping Tents and Cabins. Come and immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the many chill spots and wonders dotted in and amongst the gardens.

Cabins each have their own kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms, while all other units have access to communal kitchen and cooking spaces, as well as uniquely styled bathrooms, some with outdoor showers, and some with bathtubs and views into the forest.

Our on-site management and friendly staff will ensure the comfort of your stay, with simple supplies such as wood, ice and drinks available on-site, and nearby local superettes and farm stalls, there is no need to venture into town for supplies.

Accommodation Options

Forest Cabin
A wooden cabin on stilts, with a simple yet beautiful set up including a kitchenette with bar fridge and an outdoor bathroom area with a loo, an outdoor shower and a bath tub.
Safari Cabin
Safari Style Canvas wrapped en-suite cabin, with openable front panels for uninterrupted views of the forest. This unit also supplies a camp style kitchenette, with a gas burner, camping fridge, coffee and tea station.
Flycatcher Glamping
A large Tentco Deluxe Safari Tent erected on one of our raised decks on the edge of the forest. Perfect option for a couple, equipped with a queen bed plus all linen, a towel per person and power supply.
Family Glamping on Decks
Made up of two safari style tents erected on our raised decks. Perfect for a family of 4 or two couples. Included is power supply, a bedside table and lamp, all bedding and a towel per person. One tent is a queen bed while the other is singles.
Forest Glamping
An8mx3,5m A frame canvas safari tent. Not over the top, but true to the Glamping meaning, comfortable, spacious and no need to erect your own tents. Access to 3 stunning bathrooms, as well as the communal kitchen and lapa area.
Wooden Family Cabin
A two bedroom, one bathroom cabin. A simple set up for a budget stay. Each room has 2 single beds, with cupboards to unpack the bags. A bunk bed can be added to accommodate 5 (please contact us to pre-arrange). Guests have access to communal kitchen.
Budget Rooms
Our budget rooms are perfect for those travellers looking to explore. Save your cash for the many activities in the area. Each room has 2 single beds with steel cabinets to lock way your valuables. Three rooms share one bathroom.
Garden Glamping
Garden Glamping is set on a raised deck in our gardens. A large 7,5x4m A frame tent, set up with 2 single beds, and with electricity. Access to 3 beautiful bathrooms, with outdoor showers and bathtubs with views, a communal kitchen and the Lapa area.
Mountain View Tent
Classic A-frame safari style tents, with 2 single beds (can be made into double), all linen and bedding included, with a luggage chest, lamps and electricity. Perfect for an affordable, and back-to-basics stay. Communal Bathrooms, Kitchen and Lapa
Mountain View Family Tents
Two of our classic a-frame safari tents set up on our lovely grass sites, with open lawns and mountain backdrop. These units have build in braai places, electricity, all bedding and linen.
