About The Hermitage Treehouse
The Hermitage Valley is a few minute drive from Swellendam town. The treehouse is situated close to the mountain far away from the hussle and bussle of the town. Situated on an off the grid smallholding and sharing space with a few horses, hundreds of birds, frogs, tortoises and plenty of wildlife is the Hermitage Treehouse. Relax in a luxury, fully kitted space that has all you need for a short to medium term retreat. There is also an outside shower, sauna, swimming dam and many other perks.
The land has breathtaking views of the Langeberg mountains and dozens of nearby walks, horse or bicycle rides. We have a horse riding school on the land as well as a pedicurist, local adventure guide. There is plenty of wildlife including fish eagles, owls, blue cranes, horses, ducks, peacocks, small buck and plenty of other bird species.
