"Dear Portfolio Team We found Swellendam Country Lodge absolutely fantastic. Our second visit there having been there a number of years back. Hosts greeted us with a very warm greeting and were able to advise us of good places to have an evening meal, being a Sunday evening when we arrived. Room spotlessly clean, television working, bathroom and towels really clean. Tea/Coffee making facilities really good, everything one wanted was there. Breakfast served on the stoep the next morning was absolutely fabulous and hosts present and friendly staff."

"The welcome from Bettie was warm, friendly & helpful. Accommodation was very clean. Our only criticism of the room was the limited wardrobe space but as we were only there for 3 nights perfectly adequate. Breakfast was first class: good & healthy balance of fruit, yoghurts plus full English. Staff were friendly that included a car cleaning service. Could become "busy" around swimming pool/sunbathing area if all guests decided to use it at the same time. If we journeyed down the Garden Route again we certainly would like to stay there again"

"We stopped here overnight on our way from Outshoorn to Cape Town. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable although a little warm. THe swimming pool was a delight to swim inand they served the best breakfast that we had sampled in the 2 weeks that we had already been in S. Africa. Although the Lodge is on a main road one would never realise as the house is surrounded by well established trees. The restaurnat next door served a wonderful evening meal."
