"From the moment we arrived, gracious hospitality and professional service overwhelmed our stay - and definitely the beautiful room and environment!! The dinner and breakfast cuisine were of the highest standard and presentation, with again well-trained and elegant staff - thank you for the champagne treat specially for our 39th anniversary!! Paterson''s cultural group provided warmth and energy with their dancing and interesting comments / historical references - this was quite a unique surprise!! It was a ''night out'' to remember, and we will definitely consider elephant house again as an option for future visits, and will definitely market your place to our friends / connections."
Elephant House
"Our stay at the Elephant House was fantastic. The staff there, particularly Christelle, were very helpful. Unexpectedly, they serve dinner every night and the food was fanastic. Christelle also helped us organise a jeep safari on a nearby private game reserve, which was lots of fun. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone."

Our cottages all consist of a main bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only), hairdryer, air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities & mini bar fridge. As well as Braai - BBQ facilities. All cottages set on 5ha of rolling lawns and each has its own veranda.

Our family cottage consists of a main bedroom with inter leading section with two additional single beds -ideal for young families. En-suite bathroom (shower only), hairdryer, air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities & mini bar fridge. They also have braai (BBQ) facilities.

At Elephant House we serve light lunches under the vines or beside one of the pools , a small ( but excellent!) wine list to enjoy with your lunch.
Molo Lolo
3km from Elephant House is MOLO LOLO RESTAURANT - excellent Afro/French cuisine ( they have a well known cookery school on the premises) They also have excellent vegetarian options.
This excellent restaurant is very busy and pre booking is recommended.

1,5km away from Elephant House is Tangelos Restaurant with its good South African a la carte menu

3km away from EH is Africanos ....extensive a la carte menu including sushi.
