Hillfarm House

Ida’s valley is a wonderfully picturesque and secluded part of Stellenbosch, just half an hour from the Cape Town airport. There, on a verdant slope on the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain is Entabeni farm, named in Xhosa for “a place on the mountain.” Entabeni farm is a small paradise in the Cape winelands. And part of Hillfarm House, the newly renovated farmhouse and private residence on Entabeni, has been converted into a boutique bed and breakfast hotel. Although Hillfarm House is located in the midst of nature and set within a country environment, it is only five minutes from the centre of Stellenbosch. It overlooks the stunningly beautiful valley and is surrounded by lovely flower gardens and farmlands and encircled by great wineries, award-winning restaurants and unique art galleries.
