About Devon Valley Hotel

The original timber-framed building was built in 1947 and initially called the Cedarwood Hotel. It was renamed The Devon Valley Hotel in the early '60's and soon became a well-known Stellenbosch landmark. In 2003, with the ownership transferring to Louis Group, the hotel and estate have undergone a significant rejuvenation process.

Vineyard Rooms
These contemporary and elegant rooms carry over the unique design elements that have made the Devon Valley Hotel an award winning destination. The hotel has Vineyard Double, Twin and Triple Rooms.
Family Room
Situated in the historic Cedarwood building, the Family Room with two Queen Beds has been tastefully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel. The private courtyard has wonderful views of the vineyards or olive groves.
Family Suite
The Family suite is situated in the historic Cedarwood building and has been refurbished to reflect the contemporary feel of the hotel. The main room has a queen-size extra-length bed and the children’s room has two three-quarter extra-length beds.
Vineyard Luxury Rooms
The Vineyard Luxury rooms enjoys views of the valley, vineyard and Helderberg Mountains form their private patios or balconies. The rooms have additional features such as a fireplace and plantation shutters dividing the beautiful spacious bathrooms.
Manor House Luxury Rooms
The three twin-bedded Luxury rooms, found in the Manor House, are spacious and exquisitely decorated and all lead to a lovely private courtyard with a pool. These stylishly decorated rooms are the ultimate in luxurious Winelands accommodation.
Executirve Suite
The Executive suite, in the stylishly refurbished Manor House, is a fairytale room for romantics or honeymoon couples. An extremely spacious and private suite with beautiful views, elegant furnishings, a king-size four-poster bed, fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with free-standing Queen Anne bath and double shower.
