Caledon Villa is located in the very heart of historical Stellenbosch. It reflects the old days when villas were built to remain intact for a century and longer. This is aptly illustrated by the Oregon pine floors, art nouveau glass panels, original paintings and family portraits. A variety of cultural features such as the passage of musicians, a family museum, the Bowler Collection and a rare porcelain doll collection in the attic all contribute to the historical feel of this guest house. Modern luxuries in the rooms, lounges and breakfast room do however meaningfully integrate the historical with the modern.

The guest house further serves as an ideal base from which to explore the historical parts of Stellenbosch on foot. With a complimentary booklet in the hand, you can be your own informed guide to all the places of interest: the beautiful botanical garden just around the corner, the university campus, the cultural and historical places and the many restaurants to make your dinner the cherry on the cake!

Accommodation
Our Stellenbosch accommodation provides the customer with an experience of the warmth of personal care in a homely environment. We offer accommodation on the basis of bed and breakfast. Because of a variety of restaurants within easy and safe walking distance, dinner is not served at the guest house.
Select from 15 stylish rooms – to suit your needs. These rooms are individually named and uniquely furnished – not an impersonal corridor with numbered doors! To the contrary, these rooms they are all different and therefore it is important for us to understand your requirements to select the best fit. They are divided into the following categories:
• Standard (6 Units)
• Luxury (4 Units)
• Honeymoon (1 Unit)
• Suite (1 Unit)
• Family (3 Units)

All rooms have the following standard items:
• TV with 12 selected channels – local and international
• Fridge with a variety of drinks
• Tea/coffee facilities with freshly baked rusks
• Complimentary bottle of Port
• Hair dryer and small container with useful necessities
• Safe for smaller, valuable items
• Apart from these items, certain rooms have kitchenettes, balconies, air conditioning and telephones.

General facilities further include:
• Secure parking on the premise – mostly under cover
• Swimming pool
• Valid credit cards accepted for payment purposes
• Multiple languages – Afrikaans, English and German.

Activities
Visiting wine farms is obviously the main attraction for visitors. But remember: these are not for wine tasting only! There are many vineyards that present other additional and interesting features such as food markets, facilities for kids, exhibitions on art paintings and sculptures, archaeology, veteran cars, birds of prey, lunches in different styles, monuments and leisure walks.
There is really no end to the options and you will be assisted by our staff in planning your daily outings with all the necessary documentation.
