Jock Safari Lodge is surrounded by the lush vegetation of the south western corner of the Kruger National Park, where the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers flow into one another. Jock is the first private game lodge inside the national park and was inspired by the famous tale of Jock of the Bushveld by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, a story of a man and his loyal dog set during South Africa’s gold rush era. The colonial style lodge has 12 individual thatched suites at the Main Lodge and 3 luxurious suites at the nearby Fitzpatrick Lodge. The main lodge suites are screened by lush trees and reed walls for privacy and seclusion. Each riverside suite leads onto a private deck with plunge pool, sala and an outdoor day bed. They sleep 2 adults each and feature a full en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and luxurious amenities such as air-conditioning, private mini bar and bathrobes and slippers. The 3 luxury suites at Fitzpatrick's Lodge create the perfect haven for small groups and families. Room 1 is completely private with its own deck and plunge pool, while rooms 2 & 3 are adjoined to create a family unit with a shared private foyer, deck and plunge pool. Fitzpatrick can be booked as individual suites or as an exclusive-use lodge with its own personal chef & game ranger.
