For a more exotic experience, we offer dishes inspired by flavours from Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia and South Africa. No matter what you choose, it will be made on-site from fresh, authentic, quality ingredients. Our cuisine is preservative-free, and we use fresh herbs and produce from our organic garden beds. As part of our offerings, we produce and bottle our own wines on the Aan't Vette Wine Estate of De Doornkraal. Our Tripadvisor reviews are testimony of the excellent quisine experieced by guests.

Wine Estate...

Take the opportunity to taste our award-winning Syrah wines. The 2011, 2012 and 2013 Aan’t Vette Divine Blush Blanc de Noir won Bronze at the traditional (since 1833) South Afican Young Wine Show. In addition the 2012 and 2013 vintages were crowned with the prestigious Veritas medal (Bronze). Our red wine, the Aan’t Vette Louis Meurant Syrah 2012 and 2013 vintages, won Silver medals at the South African Young Wine Show. These high quality vintages were matured in small French oak barrels. The Aan't Vette Wine Estate strictly follows a strategy utilising only environmentally friendly farming practices. No pesticidies or herbicides are allowed in its proximity. Only organic substances are used. These fine wines are born on the banks of the Vette River in the single-block Syrah vineyard of the Aan't Vette Wine Estate on land originally proclaimed for divine worship in 1838.
