About Champagne by the River Campsite and Cottage
Champagne Campsite and Cottage offers different styles of accommodation. One Self catering cottage. 7 River front standard campsites. 4 spacious Bush camp sites. And recently added, our 8 brand new Superior Orchard Campsites with private bathrooms.
Accommodation Options
Complex A sites 1 - 5
Spacious grassy site located against the river. Shared braai pit (welcome to bring own). Access to electricity. Shared bathroom complex. Great for fishing or swimming.
Site C1 - 4
Spacious grassy site located against the river. Shared braai pit (welcome to bring own). Access to electricity. Shared bathroom complex. Great for fishing or swimming.
Site 7 Willow Tree site
The Willow Tree are located under a big Willow tree against the river. The site are a bit away from the other sites. Which gives you a bit of extra space. Access to electricity. Shared bathroom with sites 1 - 6.
Bushcamp sites B8 - B17
The bush camp site are 4 spacious sites also located against the river. The sites have access power. The river is shallower in the sites and ideal for families with small kids or pets. The bathroom are shared with solar geysers.
Cottage
Champagne have a self catering cottage against the Sonderend River on a working fruit farm. The cottage have one double bed and two single sleepers. The single sleepers are located in the lounge area. More suited for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Orchard Superior Camp Sites 12-19
Our new sites. Located on the river bank and in the apples orchards. Green grass with a great veiw over the river and mountains. Access to power. Exclusively private bathroom for each site. Picnic table and braai for each site.
