About Rosenhof Country House
Rosenhof Country House is situated in Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm and the Swartberg Pass. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.
The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. All rooms provide air-conditioning, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, satellite television (DSTV), telephone, mini bar, digital safe and tea and coffee facilities.
The two Executive Suites each with their own pool, lounge and patio, has tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain. Each Bedroom has been given a South African Bird Species name as the Cottage is surrounded by trees with many bird species, nesting close by.

The 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor with bedroom 1 & 2 opening onto a large patio.
Room 2 also has a separate sitting room area with a Double Sleeper Couch where we can accommodate 2 children under 12.
Room 3 is the smaller room, ideal for a Single Occupancy with its own private patio and view of the Herb Garden.
On the ground floor is a study and large sitting room area that opens onto a veranda and private pool.

The Breakfast Room
Enjoy a Full English Breakfast served in our manicured garden, under the gazebo or inside the sunny breakfast room.
The buffet includes home baked breads, fresh fruit, cereal selection, cold meats, salmon and much more. The warm meals, ordered from the Breakfast Menu are freshly prepared.
The Country Kitchen
The Country Kitchen serve light lunches and dinner. Traditional country meals can be enjoyed at our swimming pool, gardens, stunning verandas overlooking the gardens or in our spacious dining rooms with peaceful patios. In the winter we can reserve you a table close to the fireplace.
Dinner:
A five-course table d’hôte menu changes each day with the vagaries of the seasons and the whims of the chef. The Traditional home-cooked Karoo Cuisine awaits to prick all your taste buds. Knowledgeable waitrons will add a welcome touch to the country hospitality.
