About Oue Werf Country House & Manor
Oue Werf Country House & Manor is located on a working farm in the peaceful Schoemanshoek Valley in the Western Cape. Accommodation consists of a variety of guest rooms, each equipped with a TV with satellite channels, a bar fridge, a private entrance and tea/coffee making facilities. Romantic dinners and hearty breakfasts are served in the wagon house which has a fireplace and a patio. For leisure, guests can relax in the gazebo and have a dip in the saltwater pool.

Dinner is served on Prior Arrangements - 3 course set menu.

COUNTRY HOUSE - SCHOEMANSHOEK
"Oue Werf is an historic homestead, circa 1857, and is set on a working farm in the tranquil village of Schoemanshoek, en route to the world- famous Cango Caves, the historic Swartberg Pass and Meiringspoort. Having been in the family for six generations, the homestead offers 11 charming, air-conditioned en-suite rooms and one family room. Personal touches such as flowers and a muscadel wine welcome drink will make you feel at home, with hearty breakfasts and romantic dinners being enjoyed in the Wagonhouse on prior arrangement. A coffee shop on the premises serves decadent cakes and light lunches. Visit the neighbouring Kauras Winery for a spot of wine tasting, relax in the lush green garden or by the swimming pool, or sit in the shade of the apricot orchard. Kids will love the raft boat on the dam offering hours of fun. Children welcome | Pets by arrangement | Laundry."
