About Elshaddai Game Lodge
EL SHADDAI meaning, “more than enough”, is what you will experience in our tranquil environment, in the heart of Frontier country.
Ideal for overnight accommodation, family getaways or corporate functions. Spending time at this bush getaway spotting a variety of game, birds and vastly different biomes. View bushman paintings at various sites. Take a day to hike the deep gorge where steep rock faces, caves and magnificent Yellow Wood trees, cut through to the Fish River Valley. Bring your binoculars and hiking shoes!
Walk through our large variety of Proteas cultivated here, and see the game feeding on the grass amongst them!
Our location on the N2 highway, in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, is perfect for exploring this Malaria free, historic area of Grahamstown dating back to 1820, with many heritage sites to visit.

Accommodation Options
The Kudu Room
This is a comfortable twin room with a shower and an adequate kitchenette. This room is separated from Elshaddai cottage by means of a courtyard and veranda.
Elshaddai Cottage
This cottage has two double rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The Impala room has a shower, the Zebra room has a shower and bath, to relax and rejuvenate in! The bedrooms lead off the open plan dining room, living room and kitchen.
The Leopard Room
This is a family room comprising of a double bed and one bunk beds in the same room (sleeps 4 total). It includes tea making facilities, microwave and fridge and has basic utensils. The bathroom has a shower and bath with views.
Girraffe Room
The Girraffe Room has two single beds with tea/coffee making facilities. The private bathroom has shower, toilet and wash basin.
This is a comfortable small room for two guests.
Rustic Bush Camp 1
