Umdende Manor

Umdende Manor has the reputation of taking one's breath away as you walk through our doors. This is not your average B&B that one would find in a place such as Vryheid, (Northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa). Umdende Manor's impressive façade initially overwhelms the guests but once they settle into their deluxe rooms and slide into their gowns and slippers, they soon realize that Umdende Manor is simply their home away from home. A spacious central courtyard with swimming pool and relaxation area draws most guests out of their rooms into the sunshine to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere around the Manor.

Umdende Manor's location is also ideal to visit local attractions. Situated in Vryheid we are within the reach of the Battlefields (Anglo Boer War) and Ithala Game Reserve and one can also take a drive to Hluhluwe Nature Reserve or the traditional Zulu dwellings of Shakaland.
