About Platrand Lodge
Platrand Lodge has been established on the Fourie’s Kraal farm on the southern boundaries of Ladysmith, Kwazulu-Natal. All 4000 hectares of the farm are fenced for the 17 different types of game that are kept. The lodge is 5 km south of Ladysmith on the N11, next to the Ladysmith airfield, and by car Durban is just 2 hours away, and Johannesburg 3.
Sympathetically constructed in the style of the colonial era with long overhanging roofs and generous verandas, and set in an enchanting valley, Platrand Lodge has so much to offer: from luxury accommodation to conference and wedding facilities with impressive views and friendly service.
Added to that there are loads of activities to keep visitors occupied such as hunting (in season), mountain biking, fishing, hiking and much more.
