About Glenwood Accommodation & Safaris
Glenwood Safaris is situated in the Natal Bushveld approximately 53km passed Dundee in the direction of Greytown. The house is an old farm house that was changed into comfortable off the grid" family accommodation. The lodge is surrounded by mountains and two ravines flows through the ranch. The house has a huge on-suite main room, as well as a guest room that can sleep two people, with a loft that can sleep another two people.
At the bottom of the house is a huge family room that we can fit another 4 single beds if required. The farm is only shared with the ranger as well as the staff that stays off-site. We have a vehicle available for game drives, night drives and picnics in the bush. The ravine that flows below the house has potholes that also make excellent swimming in summer.
Other activities may also include a visit to the battlefield museums that are surrounding us like the iSandlwana and Rorkes Drif museums.
Hunting is also allowed on the farm and a huge cold storage room is available to keep your meat cold during your stay.
At night while sitting next to the fire outside - you might just be lucky enough to hear a jackal howling.
