About Ngalali Retreat
Ngalali Retreat is a family-run bush lodge in the Big 5 Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger protected area. It is conveniently located about 26 km away from the town of Phalaborwa and the gate to the Kruger National Park. The lodge has 3 en-suite bedrooms with private entrances from a shared patio and a detached en-suite chalet. There is a lounge with a big patio overlooking the waterhole. The lodge is surrounded by a natural bush garden with a large circular swimming pool accessible all year round where guests can relax in safety since it is enclosed by an electric fence. At Ngalali Retreat guests will enjoy their holidays in a relaxed, thus comfortable environment where the luxury is falling asleep with the lions roaring and the elephants trumpeting in the night or observing the numerous animals and birds which arrive at our small waterhole in front of the lodge. The owners and the staff will be available on-site 24/7, providing the catering services and assisting the guests in arranging their safari activities.

The room has a king-size bed and a set of 4 pillows. The cottage has a window overlooking the bush garden and a nice sitting patio.
Elephants King Room
The Elephants room is a luxurious en-suite bedroom, 33 sqm open plan room with two vanities and a beautiful bathtub with a large window overlooking the bush. It is equipped with a comfortable king bed with extra fine cotton linens.
Zebras Triple Room
The cozy Zebras bedroom is a comfortable triple room equipped with 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed completed by an en-suite bathroom with a large walk in shower. The entrance is from a nice communal patio. It is perfect for accommodating two adults and a child.
Wild Dogs Twin Room
The Wild Dogs bedroom is a cozy double room with two twin 3/4 beds, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a large window overlooking the bush. Convenient for two adults or two children.
