Wheatlands Country House

Wheatlands Country House is a working farm, steeped in 8 generations of family history. The house boasts high, pressed ceilings, wood paneled walls, beautiful handcrafted stained glass windows, book lined corridors and antiques that have been collected throughout the various generations.

Set on a beautiful Karoo farm, Wheatlands is situated in the heart of the Eastern Cape, 50 km south of the attractive town of Graaff-Reinet. Accommodation is exceptionally comfortable in the large, antique furnished rooms and the food, delicious. Guests can snuggle up in the corner with a book and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, or go for a walk in the veld and appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings.
