The beautifully located Tzamenkomst game farm is strategically positioned on the banks of the Orange river next to the N1 close to Colesberg.
The ideal location of the farm means its a perfect overnight stop for travellers between Gauteng and the Western Cape.
Tzamenkomst forms part of Gariep Eco Reserve, an eco-tourism and game breeding collective of working farms that offer discerning guests an opportunity to spend quality leisure time in the vast expanse of the Karoo heartland. The new Tzamenkomst River Lodge offers visitors an amazing overnight stop, with the tranquility of an operational game farm right next to the amazing Orange river. The lodge is impeccably furnished with all the expected amenities that come standard with the best guesthouses.

The stable rooms are perfect for families - it has 2 large inter leading rooms with a shared bathroom - It is a 500m walk / drive down to the Orange River and lodge facilities where you can have dinner- these units do not have a river view only a garden

Bird Hide
The Bird Hide is a very private and exclusive cottage with the most magnificent views and bird life in a tranquil setting on your own private stretch of the River. It is however 3km from the main Boma where you would join us for dinner and breakfast
