About The Richmond Karoo Small Hotel
The Richmond Karoo Small Hotel is a recently re-opened and beautifully restored heritage hotel set in the heart of the charming village of Richmond, halfway between Gauteng and the Western Cape coast. Surrounded by bookstores, a modern art gallery and Victorian museums, the hotel is being carefully and lovingly restored by Aubrey and Lionel where we hope to create a welcoming, comfortable and traveller-friendly small hotel with a total focus on guest satisfaction.
Accommodation Options
Standard Triple Room
With its high ceilings, the room feels very spacious and offers a 32" TV with satellite channels, as well as our signature refreshment tray of tea and coffee, as well as special blend filter coffee that can be brewed in the plungers provided.
Economy Double Room
Upstairs in the 1920's wing, this very cozy room is perfect for travellers watching their budgets. An en-suite bathroom, antique double bed, satellite TV and restful decor at a great price.
Superior Queen Room
Offering a queen size bed, with beautiful decor, and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath, this large sunny room is our largest. Our beds have our signature wool duvets on them too!
Standard Twin Room
A beautiful French inspired room with en-suite bathroom, comfy queen size bed and all of our signature amenities, with a delicious breakfast included in your rate.
Economy Double - Shower Only
One of our cozier rooms, this sunny room has an antique double bed with desk area, fridge, tea/coffee station as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower (no bath).
