About Explorers Lions Rock River Lodge
Explorers Lions Rock River Lodge is a short 10 minute drive from the nearby town of Hazyview in Mpumalanga, and an approximate 4,5hrs drive from Johannesburg. The lodge is ideally located in close proximity to The Kruger National Park, with the closest entrance via Phabeni Gate - a 20 minute drive from the lodge. Other nearby attractions can include local restaurants in and around Hazyview, quad biking, river rafting, hot air ballooning, Cultural Village, Panorama Route, and much more. Guests are also welcome to take part in a 30 minute tour of the macadamia plantation on the property at a minimal surcharge.
Whilst spending time at the lodge, guests are encouraged to enjoy the prolific birdlife, partake in a brief hike on the grounds, or enjoy a chilled chardonnay at either the lodges main swimming pool or sitting in comfort at your rooms patio and simply absorbing the magnificent view of the Sabie River Valley.
