Cuckoo Ridge Country Retreat

Situated in the heart of an indigenous forest overlooking a valley of lush greenery and adjacent fruit farms. The all-weather concrete access road winds its way through an indigenous landscape with the occasional sighting of Red Duiker, Bush Buck, vervet monkeys. Relax in the sun by the rock pool or in the shade with a book from our library, or on your private covered veranda, that offers views over the Majajekulo river valley. Braai (Barbeque) under the stars listening to the African. We offer 5 chalets, each unique with their own character. Guests have the option of either bed and breakfast or self-catering chalets. Bed and breakfast chalets have either a king- or queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom and private lounge. Self-catering chalets has a fully equipped kitchen, open-plan lounge and dining area, equipped with a TV with selected DSTV channels, air-conditioning in the bedroom, a ceiling fan in the lounge, a hairdryer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. All linen and towels, gowns, cutlery and crockery are provided.

Cuckoo Ridge is approximately 26 km from the Kruger National Park, entering through Phabeni Gate, and the well known Panoramic route is easily accessible.
