About Chestnut Country Lodge
Chestnut Country Lodge in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, offers a serene getaway nestled in the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains. The Lodge had its beginning in 1996, when an old farm was purchased by the first owners. Many decades later this property has been transformed and expanded into a beautiful country lodge boasting 13 rooms, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and a terrace with breathtaking views of the Sabie Valley.
The lodge features a variety of accommodations, including comfort deluxe rooms, luxury rooms, and the Chestnut Suite. Each option offers an en-suite bathroom and amenities such as ceiling fans, air-conditioners, bar fridges, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and patios, all with garden & valley views.
Guests can enjoy facilities such as a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and uncapped Wi-Fi, but the most praised quality of this property is most definitely it's tranquil setting that overwhelms the guest with nothing but the peaceful sounds of nature.
