Kerkstraat 47 is a lovely self-catering cottage with two separate sleeping units, Lavender and Granaat, accommodating nine guests in total.The cottage is situated in Gansbaai town, within walking distance to all amenities like a shopping mall, banks, the harbour and town centre. It consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms ( one ensuite) fully equipped kitchens, beautiful lounge areas with inside braai and DStv, a private entrance and secure parking. Both southern right whales and great white sharks frequent the Atlantic waters of the Danger Point Peninsula and are a major draw card for the town of Gansbaai. Situated between the towns of Hermanus and Pearly Beach, Gansbaai lies in Walker Bay at the foot of the Dynefontein Mountains with a magnificent coastline rich in fynbos vegetation.The entire Walker Bay area, between Gansbaai and Hermanus, is a whale sanctuary and the gentle giants of the southern ocean, the southern right whale, can be sighted within meters of the shoreline where they come annually to mate and calve.
