Bodhi Khaya Retreat

Around a central courtyard, we have 14 beautiful, monastery style single rooms. The first six rooms, in the front section of the Cloister, share two showers and two toilets. There is a sitting area to relax and have tea. Each room contains a bed, a small cupboard space for clothing and a side table. These rooms lead into an open plan living space that looks out across the gardens and labyrinth.

The Courtyard rooms are conveniently situated close to both the Meditation Hall and the main Dining Room. Each room is a twin, with an en-suite bathroom. We have named them after the beautiful flowers growing in the garden: Fern, Wild Olive, Morning Glory, Orchid and Poppy.

The 4 Deluxe Courtyard rooms are quirky and eccentric, each with their own personality. Every room is a double, with an en-suite bathroom. One of them, Garden Room, has a king-size bed, a Victorian bath and open plan bathroom. This beautifully restored building used to be the old dairy and has high ceilings with rustic wooden rafters and a working fireplace.

The Communal Farmhouse has three lovely common areas including a kitchenette, a cosy lounge with fireplace and a charming library with seating. Restio is a single room, Disa is a twin room and Daisy is a king room. These share two communal bathrooms. The Dorm sleeps 3-5 people with its own bathroom. Pincushion is a twin/king room with private ensuite bathroom. The entire Farmhouse (sleeps either 7 - 12) is available.

Sunbird Cottage sleeps 4 comfortably in a double and twin room, and has one shared bathroom. A traditional English Cottage, the sunlit interiors are styled with a modern twist. With your basic modern comforts, the country kitchen comes fully equipped to prepare meals for the whole family. Full of character and old English charm, Sunbird boasts an indoor fireplace to warm chilly winter nights and a porch for evenings calling to be spent outdoors.

The cottage is a majestic stroll from the main retreat facilities. Enjoy privacy, forested hiking trails and a nearby swimming pool. A window into the past, Sunbird Cottage is perfect for a multi-generational travel or a getaway with friends.
