Manor House Mont Rochelle

Located downstairs, this room includes its own terrace. The room has views to the front and side of the Manor House, which means there is plenty of sunlight flooding into this spacious double bedroom. There is plenty of wardrobe space too.

Located in a standalone building adjacent to the main Manor House building, the terrace is perfectly situated to soak up the vineyard and mountain views. The room includes a dressing table, living area and en-suite. The shower has been cleverly designed to convert into an outdoor shower or indoor depending on your preference!

The Loft Suite is the only room on the top floor of the Manor House. It has a large en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower and French doors that lead you onto your own private terrace with panoramic views of the Dassenberg Mountains. The bedroom has its own living area and has plenty of wardrobe space too.

The bunkroom has two double beds, two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. French doors lead onto the front of the property.

The Manor House is a beautiful four-bedroom villa located at Mont Rochelle, in the heart of Franschhoek’s Klein Dassenberg mountain range and available for exclusive use year-round.

Just a short walk from the main hotel building and a stone’s throw from our winery, the Manor House is ideal for families or small groups looking to escape to the winelands.

The villa comfortably sleeps eight adults and boasts a cosy bunkroom that can sleep up to six children. Throughout your stay you can enjoy the stunning views, spacious common areas, kitchen, outdoor heated swimming pool and gym, not to mention the services of a chef who can prepare meals from the villa’s dedicated kitchen. You are welcome to treat the Manor House as
you would your own home, but you’ll still enjoy the service you’d expect from a luxury hotel.

In addition to breakfast which is included in all our room rates, exclusive use of The Manor House also includes lunch or dinner at either of our two restaurants, or you could opt to dine privately in the villa. The exclusive use rate also includes all drinks (including alcohol).

At Mont Rochelle the food served is a blend of international dishes with a healthy nod to the varied nature of South Africa cuisine, paired naturally with some superb local vintages. Miko is our main restaurant located in the hotel's Manor House.

For those of you who love to BBQ you’ll be seriously impressed with our Braai. Our chefs will be happy to cook traditional South African meats (vegetarians and vegans are also welcome). Just sit back, relax and enjoy time with friends and family!

The Country Kitchen is Mont Rochelle's informal restaurant located just a short walk or a quick drive from the main hotel building and adjacent to our wine cellar. If you’re visiting the Country Kitchen for lunch or dinner, or if you’re off to the wine cellar just let us know and we’ll take you over in one of our vehicles.
