About Lekkerwijn Country House
Historic Cape Dutch Homestead owned by the Pickstone family for over 100 years, offers guest house accommodation in the heart of the Cape winelands. House is full of Harry Pickstone's collection of Cape antiques. There are extensive grounds and gardens with swimming pool. Lekkerwijn provides a unique experience of staying in an authentic Cape Dutch home and hearing abotu its history from the family.
We are right next door to Boschendal, Alle Bleue and Solms Delta wine estates, all of which offer wine tasting, excellent restaurants and picnics. Families with kids welcome. Driver available to take guests to local restaurants and functions at any time of the day or night. Families welcome, baby sitting available from trained child-minder. We have numerous miniature animals, including Transkei pigs, dwarf goats and rabbits to amuse kids (and adults). About 8 of the top 20 restaurants in the country are all 10-15 minutes drive from Lekkerwijn towards Franschhoek or Stellenbosch.

Ballroom- 2 Bedroom Cottage
2 bedroom cottage with large sitting room. There is a bathroom with bath and shower. Daily service does not include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen etc.
Camellia Room
A unit with a King Bed and en-suite with shower/bath combination. Contains a fireplace and overlooks the courtyard.
York Room
