Individually styled with modern touches, these rooms are approximately 40m²/430ft² in size and boast extra spacious seating areas , rooms have spectacular views of either the central courtyard and its swimming pool or the surrounding mountains. They all feature en-suite bathrooms with baths and walk-in showers, and some have a sleeper couch for families travelling with children.

Each room is generously spacious at 50m?/538ft? in size. Situated on the first floor around the main auberge, these rooms enjoy views of the main pool area and majestic Franschhoek mountains and are only accessible by stairs. Bathrooms are contemporary with modern fittings, including underfloor heating.

These suites are 45m²/484ft² and 40m²/430ft² in size and look out onto their own secret corner gardens. Luxurious en-suite bathrooms feature granite tops, walk-in showers and double vanities.

At approximately 80m²/861ft² in size, these suites with their private walled gardens and secluded pools are perfect for honeymoon couples or families, as they feature sleeper couches. Both suites have a bath and a shower.

Set around a private courtyard, each sumptuously decorated and generously proportioned suite is 110m²/1 184ft² in size, and features a separate lounge, a walk-in dressing room, full en-suite bathroom, super king-size bed and double sofa bed for children.

Le Quartier Cottage, your 273m²/2,938ft² private haven tucked just alongside the charm of the main hotel. With two sitting areas, a dining room, and four en-suite bedrooms, it features a 5.9-metre (19.4-foot) swimming pool. This standalone cottage sleeps six guests and is a celebration of colour and character, echoing the lively spirit of Le Quartier Français with its vibrant interiors and intriguing artworks.

Visitors looking for an informal fine dining eatery now have the perfect venue in Protégé, featuring stylish casual fare created by a team of talented young chefs headed by Andrew Willemse. The idea with Protégé is to keep it casual and comfortable, hitting all the spots with a refined, flavour-packed approach to casual fine-dining. The kitchen team works with local suppliers to keep the menu as fresh and seasonal as possible. Visitors can choose to dine al fresco or watch the chefs at work in the central show kitchen. Resident guests are invited to take their breakfast here or order in-room dining.

The flavour-packed menu is inspired by the team’s culinary expedition to India, as well as memories of travels through Spain, Japan, Mexico, Denmark and the US, as well as chef Charné Simpson’s own Cape Town family influences. Presented in a home-cooking-style with a refined edge, the experience begins from the moment you sit down, providing an array of delectably curated dishes that showcase the essence of spice (Épice) from around the world.
