About Gite
The name Gite (French) means a specific type of holiday accommodation. Gites are generally old farmworkers cottages or converted outbuildings and barns within proximity of the owner principal residence. Interestingly, we actually referred to a converted barn on our farm as The Gite for years and then when we started thinking of a name for our newly built barn-style suites a family member proposed that Gite is the perfect name.

Gite 2 is a Bachelor type suite and has stunning views over the vineyards and mountains. Dining area and kitchenette. This smaller suite is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway in a stylish venue that offers tranquillity only minutes from town.
