Franschhoek House, an exclusive-use six-bedroom private villa, is the new addition to The Royal Portfolio’s offering in the scenic Franschhoek Valley.
Situated in the Cape Winelands, Franschhoek House takes pride in the 30-acre private La Residence estate surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Built around a 200-year-old oak tree, this exclusive-use villa is secluded and private — ideal for extended families or groups of friends.
It consists of six luxurious suites, all designed by founder Liz Biden to reflect an atmosphere of elegance while paying homage to the region’s French heritage (Franschhoek is translated as “French Corner”) and celebrating the Biden family’s many travels locally and abroad.
