About Fleur du Soleil

Nestled in the heart of Franschhoek, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the Wine and Culinary Capital of South Africa, a rare and luxurious gem awaits your overdue getaway. Fleur du Soleil is ideally situated to explore all the wine regions of the Western Cape and is 50 minutes from Cape Town, 20 minutes from Stellenbosch. Centre of Franschhoek is a three minute walk.

We use alternative backup, clean energy sources and is not subject to any South African loadshedding (rolling blackouts).

We have five fully serviced luxury suites, equipped with all luxuries one would expect from a luxury establishment to have an unforgettable stay. A full, a la carte breakfast is included and served bistro style on our pool patio or in your suite.

Upon arrival you are welcomed with a glass of bubbly and fresh fruit juice. While relaxing in our main lounge area our staff will deliver your luggage to your suite. The lounge and bar lead onto our outdoor covered patio and pool. The terrace around the pool area makes a wonderful place to relax with sundowners. We have secure off-street parking.

After a day filled with sightseeing and activities, Fleur du Soleil is the perfect retreat for relaxing and watching the sunset within peaceful surroundings and luxurious rooms.

Our "wine suite", an exceptional, romantic suite with cosy wood fireplace and sitting area. Entrance from reception/bar area and a luxurious bathroom, with large shower and double shower heads.
Fleur du Soleil Suite
Large luxury suite, doors leading onto pool patio, watch sunrise or have a sundowner, enjoying the mountain view. Designed for 2 people; accommodates 2 extra people (incl. children 12 and older) on 2 Luxury King Sleeper Beds with thick, plush toppers.
Bougainvilliers Suite
Luxury 2 bathroom suite opens onto your exclusive, covered, private terrace with own entrance from the front garden. Designed for 2 people; can accommodate 2 more people (incl. children 12 and older) on two Luxury King Sleeper Beds with thick, plush tops.
Le Coucher Suite
Upstairs luxury suite with lounge and 2 bathrooms. Accommodates 4; 2 people (incl children 12 years and older) on 2 Luxurious King Sleeper Beds with thick, plush toppers. It has a large private balcony with beautiful mountain and sunset views.
