About Cathbert Country Inn
Four star rated, Cathbert Country Inn is tucked away amongst the wine estates of the Franschhoek wine route. With only 8 suites it offers a quiet retreat with a swimming pool for guests, mountain walks, bird watching and easy access to tour the nearby historical towns of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl.
The spacious rooms, are equipped with mini bars and TV, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, and warmed by under floor heating or a fireplace in winter. Each unit opens onto a private veranda and secluded garden, with views across vineyards to the towering Boland Mountains. This truly unique location is breathtaking. The site is almost 5 Hectares, accessed by tarred road, on the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains. The property is a member of 'The Good Cooks and Their Country Houses' group. From Mondays to Fridays they serve a four course dinner menu, which changes every day.

All our rooms have en suite bathrooms, their own private patio and garden with views across a winelands valley and mountain range. All have airconditioning, television, mini-bar, hairdryer, and many other comforts.This suite has all the above features plus a separate lounge with fireplace, ceiling fans and air-conditioning. Large separate bedroom and large en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and magnificent views.
