About Bellingham Homestead

Nestled at the foot of the Groot Drakenstein Mountain, lies the historical Bellingham Homestead, inside Anthonij Rupert Wine Estate and next door to the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Bellingham Homestead is a National Monument owned and managed by The Podlashuk Bellinchamp National Heritage Foundation. We are only 10 km from Franschhoek, the dining capital of South Africa. This is the birthplace of the World famous Bellingham Wines, while the Wines are no longer made here, we are very proud of our Heritage in the Wine Industry in South Africa and where our Wines are placed in World rankings.

We are a Charity Trust and we offer Self-Catering Accommodation in a variety of Suites and Cottages for Families, Couples, or Groups visiting the Cape Winelands. Bellingham Homestead is also an ideal and Picturesque Wedding/Function Venue. We also have the facilities to host Your Corporate Conference /Workshop of up to 60 people.

A spacious, historical Building at Bellingham, 2 bedrooms (Twin beds) 2 bathrooms (main en-suite). Open-plan Living area i.e. sitting room, dining area and kitchenette. Outdoor Patio. Fireplace in Sitting room and Main-bedroom
Original Guest Suite
1 bedroom (King-Size bed) with an en-suite dressing room. One bathroom en-suite. Open-plan dining area/kitchenette. Sleeper Couch (with full size mattress) in Lounge, for 2 children/teens or one Adult. Surcharge of R250.00 p/n for use of Sleeper Couch.
Zoe's Cottage
Zoe's Cottage is a light, bright and spacious, 1 bedroom Cottage. En-suite bathroom also has access to the Living area. Living Area is open-plan onto the Kitchenette. Air-conditioned and has a Fireplace in the Lounge.
Four Poster Suite
Step back in time in Four Poster Suite is dominated by the magnificent 17th Century, Antique, Queen-size, Four Poster bed. Kitchenette. Bathroom with shower and sunken bath. This Suite has a patio with magnificent views.
Benjis Cottage
2 Bedroom (Queen and Double), 2 Bathroom (main en-suite) Cottage. The Spacious Living and Dining Area are open-plan onto the Kitchen. The Enclosed Patio has a Seating and Dining Area. The Living area has a Fireplace and Air-conditioning
