"We had a wonderful two nights at Ashbourne House. We had the two upper level rooms with small tables on the deck that were so nice for sitting and having a glass of wine or coffee. The rooms are very nicely decorated and are very comfortable. The bathrooms and shower rate very high! Nice and big. The breakfast served in the morning is always cooked perfectly and Joan and her staff are so nice. John was able to move our arrival date one day later for us since we got our dates mixed up for our arrival. He also arranged a terrific tour for us with a very nice young lady for a Wine, Chocolate, Cheese and Olives tour! We would highly recommend this place and we will stay here again."

"Ashbourne House was lovely. We were warmly welcomed. The room was comfortable and well furnished. There were good refreshment and tea facilities and good provision in the bathroom. The breakfast was lovely with interesting specials of the day. There was a PC for guest use. The owners were brilliant and very friendly and welcoming. At breakfast each day they chatted to us and ensured each guest had all they needed in terms of information for their day. They made very helpful recommendations and restaurant bookings. They really went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed Franschhoek. A lovely place with very easy access to all the Franschhoek facilities, most within walking distance. Very friendly and caring owners. I would highly recommend."
