49-on-Cliff in De Kelders, is a north-facing guesthouse, only steps away from the ocean with spectacular sunsets. De Kelders, world renowned for being one of the most famous whale-watching spots, where Southern Right whales frolic in between June and December. You are almost guaranteed to see whales from our balcony and sometimes even dolphins swimming by.

Accommodation Options

Penguin Room

The Penguin room has a comfortable queen bed and a full en-suite bathroom. A TV, hairdryer and built-in cupboards for your convenience. This room overlooks the garden and can sleep, 2 people.

Seagull Room

This is our room right at the back of the house for those who prefer peace and quiet. There is a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and a door that leads out to the courtyard. The Seagull Room opens onto its own private lounge.

Shark Room - Sea Views

Our Shark Room is a North facing room with a beautiful view of the whole of the Overberg. A door leads out on our veranda where you can enjoy sun downers at sunset. The Shark room has an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a bath choose from.

Family Room

The family rooms is a 2 bedroom unit, has a double size bed, with a stunning view of the ocean. The bathroom has a shower only. The kiddies room and has 2 three-quarter beds so there are no squabbles about who sleeps where.
