About Rhodene Farm Cottages
Welcome to Rhodene! We have nine self-catering luxury cottages and a modern farm house: Three cottages on Rhodene and six newly renovated cottages & the farm house on Voëlvlei. Only an hour and a half’s drive from Cape Town, and 500m off a tarred road, the farm is situated at the foot of the Skurweberg mountains with a view across the lush Ceres valley. You may wish to relax at your cottage, walk or cycle in the mountain or fish in our dam. Within a radius of 50km are many wineries that offer very affordable and drinkable wines.
Accommodation Options
Voëlvlei Units
Each semi-detached unit with 1 bedroom with twin beds (can change to double bed by arrangement). Bathroom with shower over the bath. Open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating throughout. Small stoep with braai drum.
Guinea Fowl Cottage
1 bedroom cottage with double antique brass bed and a full bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating & fireplace for winter. Fan for summer. Vine-covered stoep with braai area.
Heron House Cottage
1 bedroom cottage with double antique brass bed and bathroom with large shower and toilet. Open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating & fireplace for winter. Fan for summer. Undercover stoep with braai area.
Peacock's Perch Cottage
2 bedroom cottage: 1 room with double bed and 2nd room with 2 bunk-beds (only children sleep on top bunk beds). Bathroom with shower, toilet and small bath for children. Fully equipped kitchen. Lounge with fireplace. Undercover stoep with braai area.
Voëlvlei Cottage 4: Fish Eagle
2-bedroomed cottage: 1x king-size bed and 1x 2 single beds (can change to double / single beds by arrangement). 2 Bathrooms. Open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating throughout & fireplace. Small stoep with braai drum.

2-bedroomed cottage: 1x king-size bed and 1x 2 single beds (can change to double / single beds by arrangement). 2 Bathrooms. Open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating throughout & fireplace. Small stoep with braai drum.
Voëlvlei Cottage 5
3-bedroomed cottage: 1x king-size bed and 2x 2 single beds (can change to double / single beds by arrangement). 2 Bathrooms. Open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating. Combined indoor fireplace / braai area. Covered stoep.
Voëlvlei House
Spacious and modern house with enclosed garden, private salt-water pool, jungle gym and close to the foot of the mountain. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Spacious lounge & dining area with fireplace. Underfloor heating. Stoep with outside braai drum.
