The farm offers three self-catering, thatch-roofed cottages, 1 corrugated iron-roofed and 4 quaint prefab cottages, all situated on the banks of the Jan Dissels River with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

It is the ideal place for a family getaway, or a romantic weekend.

Explore the farm roads on foot or mountain bike, fish and swim in the unpolluted river and be awed by the stars in the clear night skies above you.

Make this your base and explore the Cederberg, the coast at Lambert's Bay, Wupperthal, Namaqualand and Clanwilliam from here, or simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature around you.

Accommodation Options

Hangnes.
Hangnes Cottage sleeps six people. There are 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with 2 x single beds. A sleeper couch in the open lounge sleeps an additional 2 guests. The cottage is situated about 200m from the river against the mountainside.
Fivaz se Huis
This cottage has 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with single beds. There is a sleeper couch in the open plan living area for 2 more guests. There is a bathroom with a shower and bath, as well as an indoor fireplace and an outside braai.
Owen se Huis
This cosy cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with single beds. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. There is an outside braai.
Langhuis
Langhuis offers privacy and a secluded rock pool with an outside shower. There is a bedroom with double bed and an on-suite bathroom.Two children can sleep on a sleeper couch in the open plan lounge. It has a fireplace inside and a braai area outside.
Kliphuis
This very private cottage has direct access to a river pool. The bedroom has a double bed and a fireplace. Two children can sleep on a sleeper couch in the open plan lounge. The unit has a full bathroom. There is also an outside braai.
Gustav se Huis
This house has 4 bedrooms; 2 with double beds and 2 with single beds. It offers a spacious open-plan lounge with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a full bathroom and an extra toilet. The outside braai area overlooks the "swemgat".
Nenna se Huis
Cottage Nenna is a very charming cottage with a vintage but homely feel. This cottage has one bedroom with a double bed - a flow of vintage green and oyster white that is repeated in the rest of the cottage as well. Two single beds in the open plan.
