About AfriCamps at de Pakhuys
Known for its dramatic wind-carved sandstone formations, vibrant spring flowers, and ancient rock art, Cederberg is a place of unique and diverse beauty, and a favourite weekend destination among Capetonians. Cederberg’s Rocklands area is now home to AfriCamps’ newest glamping camp, AfriCamps at de Pakhuys. Nestled between striking rock faces and picturesque vineyards, 10 fully equipped boutique glamping tents welcome guests to recharge in a peaceful corner of the vast Cederberg, overlooking the Pakhuis Mountains in the distance.
The AfriCamps boutique glamping experience is perfect for families, couples, and close friends to get closer to nature while enjoying all of life's little luxuries. Our custom-made 55m2 tents are fully furnished and equipped for five guests with a private kitchen, lounge, en-suite bathroom (with private shower and toilet), two comfy bedrooms with extra-length queen-size beds, a fireplace, air-conditioning, and a wooden deck. The camp is pet-friendly, by prior arrangement.

Classic tent (hot tub)
Two-bedroom glamping tent with a fully equipped kitchen in a spacious living area with an indoor fireplace. Each bedroom is fitted with an extra-length queen-size bed, an extra single bunk bed in the second, and has access to an ensuite bathroom.
Premium Tent (Hot Tub)
Designed for couples, our spacious premium tent offers a relaxing air-conditioned open-plan space with lush finishes including a king-size bed, an indoor fireplace, luxurious lounge chairs and a modern kitchen with cooking island. Glass doors on two sides of the tent open onto a spacious L-shape deck with a netted hammock, outdoor wood-fired hot tub and a braai. The en suite bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower.
