Carpe Diem

This farm-style home is built in the local style with adobe brick, whitewash and a thatched roof. It comprises of five bedrooms: three double rooms (all en-suite), an extra room with a double-sleeper-couch (perfect for the kids) and a large, separate, cottage-style bedroom that leads onto our quaint and overgrown vineyard.

The layout of the house is around a central courtyard that includes a long, thin swimming pool (perfect for those hot, dry McGregor days!) and a covered braai area. Our rickety outside furniture is the perfect spot to have a cold beer by the pool, while looking out over our little vineyard.

Please keep in mind that this is a holiday home and not a professional rental. This means, for instance, that our cosy kitchen is sparsely equipped and our outside furniture is rickety and brittle from the harsh McGregor sun, but it also means that you get incredible value when booking one of the largest houses in McGregor!

All management of the house is done by Jannie, a local McGregor resident. He will also arrange to hand over keys and be on call should you have any issues.
