Namib’s Valley of a Thousand Hills is located in the Namib on a highland with a panoramic view of the Guab Valley. The valley is riddled with thousands of hills creating a photographer's heaven.

This natural scenery creates a fairy tale feel to a place otherwise known for its dry and arid conditions.

Until recently, the Valley of a Thousand Hills was not accessible to the general public but due to some considerable effort and planning, this wonder is now just a reservation away.

This jewel is one of Namibia’s youngest tourist attractions and it proves to be a must-see when visiting Namibia.

Accommodation Options

Lodge Room, Mountain View
This room is in the main building, has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. This room has a beautiful view and guests have their own private balcony. It is also more suitable for elderly people because it is on one level with the lodge.
Family Bungalow, Valley View
The bungalow includes twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. The beds can be moved together to form a king-sized bed. One of the bungalows has two sleeper couches, this is ideal for small children. The other bungalow has an extra room with two twin beds and two sleeper couches for children or extra adults to sleep or can be used as a lounge. There are no electricity points in the bungalows, but lights and hot water are provided by solar power.
Comfort Room
The bungalow includes twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. The beds can be moved together to form a king-sized bed. There are no electricity points in the bungalows, but lights and hot water are provided by solar power.
Camping
We have three campsites. Each site has its own ablution. There are structures erected to provide shade. There is no electricity or lights at these campsites. There is, however, hot water at each ablution.

Dining & Cuisine

Namib's Valley Restaurant
The restaurant is located at the foot of the Habuab mountain, with a panoramic view of the Gaub Valley. The building was constructed to emphasise the vast beauty of the thousands of hills in the valley. The interior has a comfortable rustic feel, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served from a set menu. A buffet setting can be arranged for groups with 10 people or more. There is a bar adjacent to the restaurant, as well as a lounge to relax in. All the meals require pre-booking and the establishment caters for specific dietary requirements if arranged in advance.
